*** FYI only *** Hi, my name is Nick Fling and I am with Turner High Schools Auto Tech Program. We are hosting our 1st annual car show on April 2nd. I know this is short notice but I was wondering if anyone would be willing to enter a few vehicles. We are holding a show for all classes and the entry fee is only $15 dollars. There will be prizes for best and show and such. If you want to go confirm with the organizer nick_fling@yahoo.com that it is being held and what the times are.

From Tucker - There is going to be a "Crusin' Down Memory Lane" car show to benefit the Parkinson's Foundation presented by the famous Jimmy Jack Clayton and crew at 71st & Mission Road, Sat. April 16, noon - 4PM. Pre-registration = $15. Some of the guys have been there in the past. 125+ cars, trucks, motorcycles, etc. expected this year. Door prizes every 15 minutes, trophies (for most carbs), bluest paint, yellowest chair, longest flames, oldest guy with a bull horn, blackest bumpers, goody bags, live music, food/drinks (!), Cars for Heros giveaway, even our own Lurlene the Trailer Court Queen. Girls on Trampolines (probably not), vendors, prizes and yes, there will probably be a couple of Corvettes on site and maybe even a plastic bucket car. Cruise to The Blue Moose at 4PM. (Two blocks away!) Free Guinness with NZ ID.

Knock the Dust off Block Party III. Benefit for Childrens Mercy Hospital. Downtown Merriam, KS. Hot dog eating contest. All Hot Rods and Motorcycles welcome. No cover charge. Donations only. All proceeds goto the benefit. Live DJ 2-8pm. The Fallen Down Drunks will be playing at Bilski's
